Community Outreach

At Antioch Veterinary Hospital, we make an effort to take an active role in the community, helping out wherever we can. Our community outreach includes promoting the human-animal bond, teaching people about the importance of veterinary medicine, and supporting organizations that aim to give animals a better life. Why I Want to Go to College Scholarship Winners

Our community involvement efforts include:

  • Senior Outreach: We regularly visit senior living facilities to provide essential health services to their pets, including wellness plans, vaccinations, prescription delivery, and lab work.
  • Local School Outreach: Sharing our work with students is important. It inspires the future generation of veterinarians and teaches about the value of caring for our community’s animals.
  • Educational Grants: We also offer $500 grants to four area high schoolers. Each recipient is chosen based on an essay they write about their reasons for wanting to go to college.
  • Educational Tours: We love sharing our facility by giving tours to the local boy scouts, girl scouts, homeschoolers, and others.
